Event Staff-(Portland) $15.50-$16.50/hr

Ticket taking, bag checking, aisle attending at various concerts and sporting events. Unloading equipment from trucks and setting up venues for events, including chairs and building stages. Working as ushers and ensuring that seating arrangements adhere to fire code regulations. Working under the instructions of an Event Manager. Ensuring the Event Hall is clean and organized.
Adhering to Event safety standards. Ensuring excellent levels of customer service. Undertaking light security duties. Assuming the role of Ticket Taker and welcoming guests. Dispensing useful information to eventgoers. (Day/Swing)

Shipping/Receiving - $18-$22/hr

This position is the full charge Shipping and Receiving Clerk, MUST BE familiar with obtaining or processing Bill of Lading (Freight Quotes and Freight Orders), P.O.s and working with a computerized shipping system.  Main duties include setting up transport for freight, stock, and other materials to be picked up or delivered to client locations.  Sorts cargo before loading or unloading. Loads and unloads cargo using appropriate tools and following schematics of warehouse. Preparing loads and orders for pickup. Forklift experience is preferred but not required. Must be able to use scales, various phone systems, customer service oriented and practical knowledge of Windows and Office Suite. This will be a position which interacts with others outside of the company.

Attention to detail is critical. Employees must be able lift-up to 50 lbs.

Administrative Customer Service Agent - $20/hr

All Star Labor and Staffing is partnered with a Portland based Condominium HOA company. They are currently seeking a Community Administrator/Customer Service Agent

The Community Administrator role is a full-time, in Portland office, assisting a Community Manager with a portfolio of Community Associations. Overtime may be necessary, especially around deadlines and the end of the year. The position may require attendance at evening meetings from time to time, and this role includes potential on-call duty for after hour emergency requests, if needed.

+ Inquisitive nature, willingness to learn, and ability to make mistakes and learn from them

+ Ability to support a Community Manager with all facets of HOA management, including letters, notices, meeting minutes, newsletters, emails, calls, work orders, etc.


Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with an hour for lunch

Basic office skills, working knowledge of MS Outlook/Word/Excel with quick and accurate typing around 60 WPM

 Minimum of one year of experience in administrative support for one or more supervisors, including fielding calls, word processing, drafting correspondence, filing, copying, and other office tasks.

All Star Labor and Staffing is Partnered with a Rubber Extrusion company based out of Beaverton, conveniently located off HWY 217.
They are seeking those experienced with Machine operation, preferably in rubber or other materials extrusion. They are willing to train the right persons, but you must be able to pass a math assessment. Resume is required for this position. It does not have to be fancy, just a breakdown of positions held previously that shows relatable experience or transferable skills.
Duties and responsibilities will be discussed when you are onboarding. This is a manufacturing environment. Common sense and following safety protocols are a must.
Temp to Hire-Shift time is 6am-4:30pm Monday through Thursday.

Estimator/Customer Service Representative-$22-$25/HR DOE

This is a customer facing position with the following, but not limited to, job duties.
The Estimator position performs the following operations:
1. Utilize knowledge of available materials and processes to ascertain performance and ability to produce potential proposal
2. Skilled in customer, vendor, and internal relations
3. Produce formal quotes, re-quotes & worksheets
4. Able to retrieve or provide pricing information
5. Maintain & extract information from Access/JobBoss quote program, Update pricing in program as needed
6. Knowledge of tooling resources and buy-out or service vendors and products
7. Ability to operate company customer relationship management (CRM) software
8. Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles and able to read part prints
9. Use of measuring & calibrated equipment
10. Process and ensure drawing control
11. Research, retrieve and understand specifications
12. Familiarization of customer information
13. Maintain organization to ensure accuracy of communications & instructions
14. Understand and complete paperwork as assigned
15. Understand quality policies and procedures
16. Understand safety rules
17. Ability to complete other tasks as assigned

District Manager (bilingual)

Karina serves as District Manager for our Portland/Tigard, Salem, and Albany offices. She joined All Star Labor & Staffing in March 2020 as the Branch Manager of our Salem office before moving into her current role in March 2021. She brings six years of staffing experience, five years in a management capacity. Originally from California, Karina moved to Oregon to continue her education in the healthcare field. She started working in staffing and quickly developed a love for helping people and decided to make recruiting her career. In her free time, she loves to be with her family and check out the Oregon food scene. Karina enjoys exploring all the beautiful scenery of the Pacifice Northwest and the Oregon Coast.

Melanie joined All Star Labor & Staffing as the Staffing Manager for our Portland/Tigard office in 2021. She brings eight years of staffing experience with six of those years as a multi-branch manager. She has over 20 years of management experience where she managed large teams of over 120 employees. Melanie loves the hustle staffing requires or as she calls it the controlled chaos! She has 3 children, is a proud Army Mom, and is married to a very patient and tolerant man. She is a native of Hawaii, loves animals, music, and traveling both domestically and internationally. Galapagos Islands is her favorite travel destination of all times.

Becky is originally from the island of Guam and learned to speak Spanish while living in Mexico for eight years. She enjoys spending time with her three handsome sons and her life partner, Torrey. Becky loves to help people and enjoys swimming in her free time.
