WAREHOUSE WORKER: $20.63 - $23.23/hr

As a warehouse worker you are responsible for handling the physical movement and storage of goods within a warehouse environment using pallet jacks and forklifts. This includes receiving, unpacking, arranging, and storing incoming shipments, as well as picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipping. They also perform tasks like inventory checks, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and using warehouse equipment.
Shrink-wrap finished good pallets as they come off the line or as instructed
Verify finished good counts, label information and paperwork
Relocate products from the production floor to designated areas in the warehouse
Physical counts as requested
Pick and deliver product orders to specified production areas as instructed on sales orders
Build finished good pallets to customers sales orders and apply proper shipping labels
Complete sales orders with required data and information
Load and unload trucks with forklift or pallet jack
Label products and check for damaged goods as they are received in to warehouse
Complete all necessary receiving, picking, damaged products and other required paperwork
Move incoming products to designated area in warehouse
Pull outgoing products for production as needed

As a Maintenance Mechanic you are responsible for overall maintenance of the production facility’s machinery, and Maintenance of necessary accessories. Maintenance Mechanic assists with routine maintenance of vehicles and general properties. This involves the use of preventive maintenance as well as scheduled and non-scheduled routine maintenance to eliminate or substantially reduce downtime. Serve on the Safety Committee, contribute for identification and correction of unsafe working conditions. Specify equipment requirements, and work with vendors in a professional, effective manner. Perform necessary parts pick-up or other maintenance related functions. Perform duties as assigned. Employee should be available as workload demands. May include other shifts and/or partial shifts.
Must be able to:

COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST II - $18-$20/hr
All Star Labor and Staffing is now looking to hire an Employment Specialist II for a not-for-profit organization focused on hiring people with disabilities and providing high-quality services that make a meaningful impact on the community.
Responsible for internal case management of an assigned caseload. Duties include documentation (case notes, safety plans, billing), coordinating with support networks and funding sources, vocational planning for community job placement, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This role models Garten’s Mission, Vision, and Values.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate case documentation and track ISP/VR goals.
Support vocational planning and coach participants toward job readiness.
Coordinate with job coaches and external partners (e.g., DD Services, Vocational Rehab).
Ensure billing accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Support onboarding/training and model professional behavior.
Assist with QA processes and maintain confidentiality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
2–3 years’ experience in job coaching or training individuals with diverse abilities; vocational/production experience preferred.
Degree in related field may substitute for 2 years of experience.
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Salem community and basic ASL is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical demands of the role.

COMMUNITY JOB COACH - $17/hr
All Star Labor and Staffing is now looking to hire a hardworking and mission-driven team as a Community Job Coach in the Salem area.
As a job coach working for a non-profit organization focused on hiring people with disabilities. Providing on-the-job support to individuals with disabilities in community work settings. Facilitating workplace inclusion by educating employers and developing natural supports to ensure job success and retention.
Essential Duties:
Serve as a positive role model for program participants.
Deliver hands-on job coaching and support based on individual needs.
Support job retention and skill-building, including integration into community opportunities.
Educate employers on disability awareness and workplace accommodations.
Develop and support natural workplace supports in partnership with employers.
Maintain effective communication with participants, employers, referral sources, and internal teams.
Complete timely documentation and record-keeping.
Additional Responsibilities:
Attend meetings with employers and referral sources.
Assisting with personal care on individuals in use of restroom and in clean-up.
Contribute to expanding integrated employment opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Scope:
Provides training, daily guidance, and informal evaluations of others as needed.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Ability to assess, train, and support individuals with disabilities.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and meet other physical demands.
Minimum of one (1) year experience working with/providing training to individuals with disabilities
An Associate Degree/equivalent training specializing in rehabilitation, social work, communication, or related field may be substituted for 1 year of experience.

Karina Quintana
District Manager (bilingual)
Karina serves as the District Manager for the Portland Metro area and Salem. She joined All Star Labor & Staffing in 2020 as the Branch Manager of our Salem office. She brings six years of staffing experience, five years in a management capacity. Originally from California, Karina moved to Oregon to continue her education in the healthcare field. She started working in staffing and quickly developed a love for helping people and decided to make recruiting her career. In her free time, she loves to be with her family and check out the Oregon food scene. Karina enjoys exploring all the beautiful scenery of the Pacifice Northwest and the Oregon Coast.

Lupe Ceja
Recruiting Manager (bilingual)
Lupe officially joined All Star Labor & Staffing in 2019. She worked as the Front Office Coordinator until January 2020, when she was promoted to Staffing Coordinator. In 2021 Lupe was promoted to Recruiting Manager; in this role she is responsible for driving the recruiting and order fullfilment of the branch. Lupe also works as a Spanish interpreter. Outside of work she spends time hiking with her husband and pup, Zeus (pitbull), catching up on the latest movies, and cooking delicious Mexican food.

Recruiting Coordinator (bilingual)
Yadhira joined All Star Labor & Staffing in 2022 as the Recruiting Coordinator for our Salem office. She was born in California and raised in Oregon. After meeting her high school sweetheart, she moved to Camp Pendelton Marine Corp Base in California and is now back in Oregon. Yadhira is immensely proud to be a military mom! She if very family oriented, loves to explore unfamiliar places with her daughter, read, and learn new recipes. She has a major sweet tooth and is guilty of sneaking away with her daughter to eat pastries.
